game creation software?

hi, i was wondering if anyone knew if there was some game creation software that i could make a First person RPG like twilight wars (preferably like it), i saw this game, it is sadly deactivated, i wanted to bring out another game like it, first person shooter RPG possibly online (so if you have any suggestions to get it online, as well, please help me, i have listed specs that my computer could handle (out-dated really) graphics card is the downfall, Thanks in advance ^_^

There are no 2 ways about this, you are going to have to learn how to program.

Games in their majority are written from scratch. Coded from the ground up, and in the case of 3D Games that is meant literally - you code everything from the ground to the sky in your Game world.

Some Games use existing Game Engines, either in-house or proprietary or in some cases open source game engines. [1]

Regardless of which type you use, in order to use them you need to be able to program. The majority of Game Engines are written in C++ and use either OpenGL [2] or DirectX [3] for managing their Graphical sides.

In the world of 2D Gaming there are some pieces of software out there for Gaming enthusiasts such as GameMaker. [4] These pieces of software are simply that, intended for Gaming enthusiasts - they aren't intended to be used to build games for commercial sale.

So in terms of Game creation software that is aimed for making 3D Games there is little available and those that are available are of questionable quality.

There are however many programs available for making 3D Game components. All 3D components in Games start with a Mesh. A Mesh is a wire frame built up from polygons that define the shape of the object, textures are then applied to these polygons.

Professional Graphics Artists and Level designers for Games will use something like 3DS Max [5] or Maya for building 3D Models. You can build the bulk of the Game and its components in these packages but what you create will be static and will not do anything. To work with what you create you will need a rendering engine, a physics engine and your own game logic. There are other major components too which all come together to create a Game Engine.

There is a lot of theory here to learn. Arguably hobbyist Gamers should really stick to 2D as it is far simpler to get involved with. If you want to get into 3D you need to know that there is a lot of information you need to learn. This doesn't even take into account the basic 3D mathematics you will have to learn such as Vector Math [6] for example.

If you want to learn C++ I suggest the book [7] Sams Teach Yourself C++ in One Hour a Day

If you want to know more about Game Design and the anatomy of a Game Engine, as well as some introduction to DirectX then I would suggest this book [8] Game Coding Complete by Mike McShaffry.

Finally if you are interested in working with existing Game Technology, then you may want to look into this book [9] Mastering Unreal Technology, Volume I: Introduction to Level Design with Unreal Engine 3

Unreal Engine is one of the most accessible in terms of cost as its development kit the UDK is free for non-commercial use. Again this is written in C++ and also uses their own in-house developed scripting language UnrealScript.
