Can a total country bumpkin/redneck date a suburban/city girl?
I went on a date with this guy, his southern accent was so thick I could hardly understand what he was saying. We approached an escalator and he (seriously) said "WHY ARE THA STAIRS MOVIN?" he couldn't pronounce basic store names like "godiva" etc. I'm not shallow, but it's just weird to date someone who knows so little about civilization. Thoughts?
Just don't date him to prove you're not shallow. If you two laugh together when you're out and enjoy each other's company, that's all that matters.
