what are some good places to go to on a date in Los Angeles?
Any place in LA, like around November and on!
santa monica pier. the tiny amusement park and arcade there makes you feel like a kid again. then you can go (window) shopping on the 3rd st promenade. plenty of restaurants for any budget in the area.
go to the getty museum. bring a picnic lunch and a camera to take pictures in their garden/park. it's beautiful there and all you have to is pay for parking.
the laugh factory comedy club. or the groundlings. i haven't been to either of these yet, but those of my friends who have been have all enjoyed it there. plus, i think it's relatively cheap (20 bucks/person).
walking around through a farmer's market in any town (i like hermosa beach's). buy some fresh produce and make dinner together, if either of you like to cook.
griffith park observatory. AMAZING view of the city (on smog free days, that is). if you're into planetariums and science-y stuff, then this should be a great date for you guys.
sporting events games! late fall/winter has basketball (lakers or clippers) and hockey (kings). so the staples center is the place for that.
one of my all-time favorite pseudo-date activities is driving up pch to sunset and driving from pacific palisades all the way to hollywood. if you like going for drives, i think it's so pretty and relaxing.
go for a bike ride along the beach. use your own bike, or rent one (plenty of places on the beach to rent one).
and of course, there's always the classic dinner and a movie. there are hundreds of theatres to go to, and always a good restaurant in walking distance.
