Culturally Speaking: Do you think that in the US, some interracial pairings just can't happen?
Maybe the Indian guys posting about wanting a date with a Latina do have a point. Anyways we know interracial dating is getting big and increasing but lets be realistic, majority of it is the same couples, Asian girl - White guy, Black guy - White girl and Black or White guy with a Latina. You rarely hear of an Asian guy with a Black girl, even here in NYC I have seen it but not as often, outside of NYC I rarely hear of a Middle Eastern or Indian guy with a Latina yet here in NYC I know it exists because 6 of my friends from those groups are dating Hispanic women (my Indian doctor is married to a Latina and they have three kids together), and you rarely hear of a Black guy - Asian girl couple though I am the result of that.
I want your views, do you think that even in a country like the US, some interracial couples just can't happen IN MOST CASES? Why?
If so, which ones?
Black guy and Asian girl rarely happens because Asian girls have some very racist parents in most cases who are against them dating a guy who is Black, Hispanic or even another type of Asian, they only want their daughters to date White men if they date out and that is because White skin is considered beautiful in Asia. But I have seen it a lot, especially in bigger cities.
Middle Eastern guy with a Latina rarely happens because most Latinas resemble Middle Eastern men and most Middle Eastern men try to date White girls because Blondes are considered beautiful in their culture and they believe they may have a higher chance of getting a US Citizenship.
I am an Indian guy dating a Latina but it is so rare because Indians in general (that means not all but most) are probably the most racist people on the face of planet earth, even the ones here in the US. Most Indian parents are against their kids dating outside their own race, the nicer ones allow their kids to date Whites and that is IT. Mines are pretty cool parents and they share a bond with me, they are fine with me dating a Puerto Rican girl, most Indian parents would beat their kids if their kids dated a Black, Hispanic or even another Asian person.
Basically it has to do with cultures and Indian and Middle Eastern people just recently started coming to the US as opposed to Black, White and Hispanics who have been here for a while so they still retain parts of their bigoted and racist culture. Some Indian people who have been here for a while I notice do tend to prefer Latinas and Asian women over White women, my doctor was born and raised in the US and he married a Venezuelan woman who was also born and raised in the US, his parents were okay with it. An Indian girl I knew tried to marry a Black man, her parents disowned her.
