Dating While Fat

Why do men date fat women?
Why do men date fat women just to break up with them cause they are fat? I dated my bf for a year and he broke up with me cause I didn't fit the image of what he thought his gf should look like. I even lost wieght while we were dating.
A wise man one asked me, 'what is the perfect woman's body shape?' I didn't know of course, so he replied, 'the shape of the woman whom he loves'.
People can be easily influenced by what their friends think, men as well as women. It seems to me that men want their friends to think highly of them, perhaps even jealous of them. One of the ways of doing this is to have a 'desirable' girlfriend. Unfortunately, (especially in the US it seems) men are very fixated on having a 'hot' woman, I suppose to make themselves to be seen as successful, or more desirable-
It's a pity that people can be so shallow, life is not about looks it's about having fun!
So, it sounds like this guy probably did like you, but then was influenced by others, and instead of being strong about it he succumbed to his own feelings of inadequacy.

Blind Dating $12.73 James Keach's romantic comedy Blind Dating concerns a 22-year old blind man named Danny (Chris Pine). Though Danny refuses to let his visual deficiency keep him from enjoying every aspect of life, he does shy away from women. When his brother Larry (Eddie Kaye Thomas) discovers Danny is a virgin, he makes every effort to lift that burden from him. Although a series of dates goes very wrong in a number of ways, Danny eventually meets a nurse (Anjali Jay), who agrees to go out with him, although her Indian family may prove a greater hindrance to their happiness than his medical condition. ~ Perry Seibert, Rovi Thomas, HAROLD AND KUMAR 2) sets him up on a series of blind dates, while his therapist (Jane Seymour) goes beyond the call of duty when she learns that Danny is a virgin. Danny becomes convinced that his blindness is to blame for his lack of amorous success, and undertakes an experimental remedy that helps him regain partial sight through a micro-chip implanted in his brain. Ultimately, Danny believes he's found love with the eye doctor's receptionist, Leeza (Anjali Jay), but their relationship is complicated by Leeza's arranged engagement. Although somewhat schizophrenic in tone and subject matter, BLIND DATING succeeds as a heartwarming tale of love triumphing against all odds--and rather bizarre ones, at that. |

I Gave Dating a Chance $2.99 In recent years, "dating" has become a dirty word in many Christian circles. So dirty, in fact, that young believers are now encouraged simply not to date. This movement has fueled and provoked debate among teens, their parents and youth workers, and single adults - a debate that remains unresolved for a great number of them. What about those Christians who want to maintain their integrity and remain within God's will while engaging in righteous dating? Is 'not dating' really the only acceptable option in God's eyes? The answer, assures author and youth pastor Jeramy Clark, is a resounding "no!" The time has come for a sound, biblical, and practical approach that balances out the extreme perspectives: dating without responsibility versus, a complete withdrawal from the dating process. In I Gave Dating a Chance, teens and single adults alike will learn how they can confidently pursue healthy dating relationships that are characterized by holiness and integrity - and ultimately bring glory and honor to God. |

Eat Fat, Lose Fat $10.5 New in paperback! The healthy alternative to trans fats, this revolutionary program explains why we must eat healthy, saturated fats-especially coconut-to achieve weight loss and good health. Since the late 1950s, it's been drilled into Americans that fat makes you fat, saturated fats (such as those found in butter, eggs, and red meat) are unhealthy, and tropical fats and oils (like coconut and palm) are downright deadly. And yet-as we eliminate saturated fats from our diet for fear of high cholesterol levels and hardened arteries-obesity, heart disease, and cancer rates have continued to climb. Based on more than two decades of research by world-renowned biochemist and fats expert Dr. Mary Enig, Eat Fat, Lose Fat flouts conventional wisdom by asserting that so-called healthy vegetable oils (such as soybean and corn) are in large part responsible for our national obesity and health crises, while the saturated fats traditionally considered harmful are, in fact, essential to weight loss and health. World populations on four continents that subsist on the coconut, with less evidence of heart disease, weight gain, or other chronic illnesses, provide the best proof of this food's safety and efficacy; dozens of studies conducted by prestigious, mainstream universities support the use of coconut and other healthy fats and reveal the faulty reasoning underlying the saturated fat/heart disease hypothesis; and case stories from a wide range of people illustrate how using coconut oil in concert with other healthy fats can spark weight loss and heal serious illnesses, including anxiety, hypothyroidism, and chronic fatigue syndrome. Featuring delicious recipes for each of its three nutritional programs, Eat Fat, Lose Fat is the book to help you build energy, lose weight, fight disease, and boost your immunity. |
