Hi I am to apply for citizenship tomorrow, Can anyone tell me how many months/years it would take for the process, lets say it follows its course without any issues. I am aware that there were backlogs from the fiscal year 2007 but due to the aggressive hiring in 2008, they should be done with the backlogs by now. I am in NY , does the time frame vary from state to state or from UCIS district to district ?
