I'm 21 yr old female. I've had female friends say that I'm quite beautiful and pretty. I don't consider myself as such, and think I'm just cute. I have pretty low self esteem and avoid making eye contact with guys anyway. I'm shy and socially anxious.

However, if I'm walking around or need to raise my head to see where I'm going (means I need to look at people) men won't give me eye contact. Its almost as if I'm ugly or invisible or something. Because I've heard guys will look at a women if she's very pretty. But all I get is a quick 1 second glance or nothing at all.

A guy might approach me like once a yr, and I know right off the bat they are players, so I don't bother.

it's because us men are intimidated if you catch us looking at you we usually think you are hot and pretty but too shy to approach it we just do a quick glance and shyly look away i have done that to some good looking girls
